In Ukraine, there are many companies that have been working in the same old ways for the last 20 to 25 years. But, the world has changed greatly. And these companies, little by little, face a variety of difficulties.
Previously, 75 to 80% of businesses catered to the internal market and post-Soviet countries where basically there was no competition, and almost all matters were dealt with through administrative intervention. Companies needed to compete neither on price nor on quality; they simply came into existence and worked.
Now, they are having trouble making big profits. Their way of thinking must be globalized. Such companies must make sure their services and products target not only the domestic market but also the whole world, as it is in many countries.
