Innovecs announces the launch of the QA Automation track in InnoCamp which starts in January 2020 and entails the possibility to pass a salary-based internship by working on real projects within the company.

Innovecs, a global software development company, starts a selection process for the Quality Assurance (Automation) track on the basis of InnoCamp, our educational hub.

It is the third track directed towards the development of competencies of the future IT specialists in Ukraine. In 2019, the company successfully held QA Manual and Front-end (React, JavaScript) tracks. 18 InnoCamp graduates have started their career path in Innovecs.

A basic set of requirements includes knowledge of testing fundamentals, ability to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and intermediate level of English.

The first stage of the selection process includes online testing of technical skills and evaluation of the English language knowledge.

The next stage is the interview with the Innovecs’ technical experts in the office. They will assess both the hard and soft skills of the candidates who passed the first stage.

Based on the results of the interviews, 20 candidates will be enrolled in the QA Automation track in InnoCamp.

Organization of the Education Process

The track starts on the 20th of January, 2020. Lectures will be held in the second part of the day from Monday to Friday and will last 4 hours. The program will be focused on automation testing with Selenium WebDriver (Java).

The track also includes soft skills training aimed to develop competencies such as creativity, teamwork, effective communication, and critical thinking, and improve the knowledge of English.

Innovecs’ team has adjusted the best educational methodologies and combined them with the company’s international expertise.

InnoCamp experts use the innovative EduScrum methodology which allows for effectively working in international teams.

InnoCamp students will work on real cases from the Innovecs portfolio and stick to the Learning by Doing principle.

Career Opportunities

The best track graduates will be invited to pass the internship by working with teams on real Innovecs projects. A personal mentor will supervise them and help handle difficulties.

Graduates will get access to the benefits provided to all employees including our WOW Program (group training in the gym, healthy food in the office, meditation, participation in InnoHub educational events, and many more).

Access to all educational materials will remain open for each InnoCamp student. This way we ensure the execution of the Learning by Doing principle and help IT specialists develop their skills.

Message from CEO Alex Lutskiy on COVID-19
To all Innovecs employees, clients, and partners As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to develop and affect people globally, I want to personally update you on the steps Innovecs is taking to maintain our business operations and ensure the health and safety of our staff. We remain committed to ensuring the superior service our clients have come to expect from us. We monitor the situation closely and remain watchful to the recommendations of government and public health authorities. Our R&D teams, as well as all other employees, continue to work remotely, and we are ready to adjust the measures in response to changing quarantine circumstances. We have established a special COVID-19 team within senior management to respond to the ever-changing impact of the coronavirus and to protect employees’ health and safety. We have also set up regular online meetings to keep up to date and plan activities so that we could advise our customers and coordinate our teams accordingly. And we continue to provide our internal and external audiences with the relevant webinars and online events with regard to the new world order. To combat the spread of the disease in Ukraine, Innovecs has created the “Innovecs COVID-19 Fund” in the amount of 1,500,000 (one million and a half) hryvnias. The fund is directed to support the initiatives that fight coronavirus, as well as to ensure the safety of the company’s employees and their families. As part of this initiative, Innovecs purchases and installs an oxygen pipeline system at one of the Kyiv hospitals. This is a challenging period for everyone, and the situation is changing rapidly, but Innovecs is responding to it with unity, as a company, and as a team. I believe that when we stand together through moments that bring uncertainty and seem dark, we come out even stronger in the end.  Thank you for your patience and attention throughout this stressful time. As an employer and a partner, Innovecs is confident in our business continuity plan and our ability to provide support to our clients and staff. It is my sincere hope that our efforts and those of businesses, communities, and governments will empower the containment of the coronavirus and enable a speedy recovery for people around the world. In the meantime, let’s stay safe and help others keep safe too.   Sincerely, Alex Lutskiy Innovecs CEO & Founder
