At Innovecs, we pay significant attention to the estimation of the general scope of workload before embarking upon the client’s project. For this, we have customized the entire cooperation process with the client by enriching it with the Discovery stage which entails the discussion of all the client’s expectations and objective estimation of resources and efforts needed to meet all technical requirements.

Bottleneck Night: Estimation VS Reality is the event aimed at sharing the Innovecs’ experience in the effective project estimation. It takes place on November 6th in InnoHub, the Innovecs’ innovative media environment.

If you provide the client with the correct time and effort estimations, chances are you will meet their expectations on the project outcomes.

Working with the client’s expectations is not less important as working on the development of the product.

Register for the Bottleneck Night, and come to know more estimation insights. Our experts will share their best practices.

The Bottleneck Night Speakers

Bottleneck Night: Estimation VS Reality has gathered the best Innovecs’ speakers, specialists with years of experience and rich background. They have passed a difficult way to achieve this knowledge and experience. They have made many mistakes that cost not only time and effort but missed deadlines and even lost money.

Let’s outline the key points of the lectures that will be delivered on November 6th.

Sergey Khandogin, the CTO at Innovecs, will start the event by telling how to effectively facilitate the project that has been previously managed by another vendor. Sergey has over 20 years of experience in the IT-sphere, so he has had a chance to work with various clients according to various cooperation models and scenarios. At the event, he will outline the factors that require the most attention and time and will explain how to respond to “the project needs only minor corrections” client’s phrase.

Ihor Vakulenko, the Senior Software Engineer at Innovecs, will continue our Bottleneck Night. Ihor is our PHP-guru, wonderful team lead, and problem solver. He will describe the “reality” of the developer’s working life. Ihor will tell how to effectively build the entire process and remain calm and balanced when the client unexpectedly changes his requirements and creates new tasks right during the process of development.

Olexandr Katrusha, the Senior Technical Program Manager at Innovecs, will reveal some technical insights. He has 17 years of experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems. Olexandr will tell about the recurrence of the same mistakes made on different projects and how to notice and solve them on time. Based on his experience, he will reveal the secret of how to effectively manage the project regardless of the mistakes made in the development process.

We are waiting for you at 7:00 pm on November 6th in InnoHub!

Bottleneck Nights is a series of night events aimed at discussing bottlenecks at different projects in the context of technical qualifications and pain points.

Mistakes on projects can happen anytime and everybody can face them. Moreover, at Innovecs, we try to learn from our mistakes. Now, we have decided to share this negative experience which leads to positive outcomes so that you have a chance to learn from somebody’s mistakes, not your own.

Unity As a Weapon Against Evil: How Volunteering Helps Resist Russia’s Enemy Attack
Innovecs is a global company, we have two large offices in Ukraine located in Kyiv and Mykolayiv. On February 24, Ukrainians woke up to a new reality — a hostile Russian invasion shattered the plans and quiet lives of 45 million people. Instead of getting confused, the Ukrainians united in the name of victory. President Zelenskiy is now compared to King David of Israel, who skillfully dealt with the huge and ugly Goliath. A small country on a map is fighting a huge Russian army. National collective responsibility has been a powerful blow in response to Russia’s legend of a weak and divided Ukraine. Here everyone is either a soldier or a volunteer. Each of us has our own battlefront. Someone hospitably opens the door to migrants, makes dumplings for soldiers in the defense, someone donates to the army, and seeks options to buy bulletproof vests and medical kits for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Someone performs DDoS attacks on Russian sites and is waging an active war on the information front. Some advise and provide psychological assistance, some treat and organize humanitarian convoys free of charge. Innovecs, like hundreds of others, has joined the financial support of the army. We also organized additional fundraising for each team member who wanted to donate money to support the army. Of course, Innovecsers help not only with funding, but also volunteer. Today we will share some stories of our team members who chose their “battlefront” during the war with Russia.
